Who would describe themselves as a pain in the neck? Hannes Jaenicke does it with a satisfied grin - because he has a big problem with how we are mistreating our planet. And he shows it. We met the actor, presenter, and author at Lake Ammersee and talked to him about his commitment, when he starts to sin, what he expects from politics, what contribution each of us can make, and so on...

It was clear that Hannes Jaenicke buys all his food unpackaged.
That he is wearing a faded sweater from the environmental organization "Sea Shepherd" during our shoot is probably no coincidence. And that he is a vegan (albeit only 80 percent) - a side note. Hannes Jaenicke's main profession is not actually an actor but an environmental activist.
Whoever talks to Hannes Jaenicke leaves their comfort zone.
His statements linger, his experiences in the chicken coop are vivid, and yes - we too have had to take a good look at ourselves. But Hannes Jaenicke does not want to always walk around with the "erect index finger". However - for us, stepping out of our comfort zone was over too quickly, even as a podcast.
