Our children's cookbook shows how delicious dishes can be created from fresh ingredients that children love and at the same time provide plenty of nutrients. Holger Stromberg, former chef of the German national football team, has developed the recipes specifically for families.

Whether it's peas rolling off the plate or the skeptical look at the broccoli - all parents know this. That's why our experts have come together and collected their best tips, recipes, and ideas to make children excited about fresh ingredients.
Who was involved?
Holger Stromberg, former chef of the German national football team, provides 33 child-friendly recipes with "superpowers", from snacks to main courses to sweet treats.
Gaby Grosser, children's book author, writes stories about the Vital Eight, making knowledge about nutrition fun and understandable.
Gerd Truntschka, founder of LaVita and publisher of the book, combines his vision in this project: healthy nutrition, playfully conveyed, and inspiring families to cook together.
With expertise from Jesper Juul (family therapist), the pediatrician Dr. med. Herbert Renz-Polster and the nutrition researcher Hanni Rützler.
What to expect:
33 lovingly designed recipes that are not only delicious, but also show how colorful and diverse a healthy diet can be.
A knowledge section for children: Vitamins ABC, which vitamins play a role in the body, which foods give superpowers, along with stories, puzzles, and coloring pages.
Comprehensive parent guide: How parents can make everyday life healthy, how motivation can succeed, and how to get young children excited about healthy eating.
