Harvard researchers: These vitamins can slow down the aging process
Those who take a comprehensive micronutrient supplement daily can significantly slow down the natural aging process. This is once again shown by a recent study from the USA.

The study
A recent study led by Professor JoAnn Manson investigated how the daily intake of a micronutrient supplement containing all essential vitamins and trace elements affects the aging process. Around 950 adults took either a multivitamin supplement or a placebo daily over a period of two years. The researchers used modern epigenetic clocks to measure the biological age of the participants – an innovative marker that reflects the molecular changes in our cells.
JoAnn Manson is one of the world's leading researchers in preventive medicine and nutrition. She is a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and the head of the Department of Preventive Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Her research examines how micronutrients affect age-related health changes, including the globally renowned COSMOS study on the effects of holistic micronutrient supplements.
The results
The analysis showed that the group that received a holistic micronutrient supplement daily, on average, Aged 10 to 20 percent slower than the placebo group.
The effect was particularly pronounced in People whose biological aging was progressing faster at the beginning of the study. The measurements suggest that comprehensive micronutrient supply can not only positively influence biological age but also protect our genes from premature changes – an important factor for cell health.
What does that mean for us?
The results clarify: At any age, it is worth paying attention to comprehensive micronutrient supply., because a daily micronutrient supplement can be a supportive component for healthy aging.
One Reduction of biological age by 10 to 20 percent is considered enormous in aging research because the effects add up over the years. and a lower biological age is associated with a reduced risk of diseases. The study thus confirms what previous research had already asserted: Comprehensive care can lower biological age and protect genes from aging.1 as well as keeping the brain young.2
A daily good supply of micronutrients, like a healthy diet, exercise, and good sleep, is one of the important pillars of prevention.
